Technical Data

♦ The present RUSK hardware is ready for MIMO measurements
     ·  Up to 1024 channels, e.g., 16 transmit and 64 receive antennas


♦ Improvements are desirable especially for directional parameter estimation
    ·  Example:
         - Resolution of azimuth and elevation requires planar arrays at both sides,
           8x8 uniform rectangular arrays yield 4096 channels

    ·  The ratio of the measurement repetition time and the total snapshot duration
       gets smaller with a larger number of channels [see the time diagram].
       The arising need for continuous recording of the receive signals requires
       a sophisticated storage concept

♦ The new generation RUSK system is prototyped within the HyEff project
